I don’t know where to begin! Seriously! I’ve had mixed emotions about this book from the very beginning and now that’s its over! Wow! It was a sizzling hot sexy roller coaster ride that I never wanted it to end! Myka was such an amazing female lead character. She wasn’t a normal boring perfect character. She had flaws and cried and had real life issues and it was amazing! I loved how the author was able to bring in so many different characters and have them all have real lives of their own and portray them all differently!Myka and Gabriel are a real interesting couple. Their chemistry is smoking hot and the pages literally will melt your kindle because the sex is so hot but… the connection, the love, the real romance…will they find it? You have to read to find out! I had my doubts and at certain points but I just had to find out what happened! This book will keep you on the edge of your seats and not let go! This book will teach you some important things about BDSM and safety. The author did a good job showing that. I highly recommend this book to any BDSM book lovers and to anyone who’s looking for a little adventure!
P.S. I hope Master Taylor gets a book of his own and his subbies name is Summer ;)

Talk about a hot story. Put down Fifty Shade of Grey and read this instead. I really high recommend this novel. Its a long story, and by the end, you will be sad its over!
I know I would have loved this book if I liked Gabe. I thought he was cold and downright mean. In my opinion it bordered on abuse. Myra may not have safe worded, but he should have known when enough was enough.
Together Myka and Gabriel make the pages steam! Very sexy romance with a great storyline as well. This book was not just a sexual romp but really gave insights into how romance (and not just BDSM) affects your whole life, including your career. Myka’s crazy rock star boss and all the things Myka had to do to keep her happy were as interesting to read about as the love story between Myka and Gabriel in this well-rounded and well-written story. As for the BDSM element, this book is not for the faint-hearted and those scenes are extremely intense. So be sure that’s your cup of tea, just as the publisher note says. For those who love the more intense sexuality and BDSM, I highly recommend Myka and Gabriel’s story.
I’ve read all of Alex Alvarez’s books and love them all. Her female characters are always strong, independent women and her heroes are hot as hell Alphas. In Myka and the Millionaire, Gabriel and Myka’s chemistry is off the charts. It’s amazing to see characters on paper come together like this and just explode off the page. The sex sizzled, the BDSM was hot as hell and the story engaging even without all the sexiness (but why pass that up??). I love characters I can relate to, characters who are gray rather than black and white, and a story I can sink my teeth into. This book had it all. It was well written, interaction between the characters was natural and quick, and did I mention the hotness of the sex scenes??
Myka and the Millionaire is awesome! A top-100 seller in BDSM on , it delves into what it would really be like to have a BDSM relationship—not the “romance novel” version of it, the real version. (‘Tho true, all romance books are fantasy.) But this one talks about the feelings and thoughts that a smart woman has when she chooses to be the submissive in a relationship, and that’s what makes this book special.
I thought that one of the interesting parts about it was how it contrasted different types of BDSM relationships—not just that of the main characters, but also their friends, and even an example of what not to do. It’s so thoughtful, and feels like a thorough explanation.
That said, it’s also off the charts hot. This is one of those books that you can’t read in public because of the scorching, unique, and creative sex scenes. Alexis Alvarez writes beautifully and this book is entertaining and intelligent. Check it out!
Where do I start? This book is so good, and I have so many thoughts to share! No spoilers, I promise, but if you like dark romance with hot (and very intense) BDSM scenes, all wrapped up into a perfectly Happy-Ever-After ending, then GET THIS BOOK NOW!
Myka, the protagonist, is a great character. She's strong but sensitive, with goals and ambitions. Definitely not a push-over. She's intrigued by BDSM, reading novels about them and seeking out places she can go to do her own research. But it's all just fantasy. Until she meets sexy, strong, alpha-male Gabriel. He's dominant and very active in BDSM, and he's more than willing to teach Myka what it's all about.
Myka thinks all she wants is the amazing sex but realizes she's yearning for more. The only problem is Gabriel's not willing to give her what she wants. Or is he? He's got his own tortured and mysterious past that he refuses to share with her.
This book makes me wish I had a Gabriel all my own! Myka's a lucky woman, and you'll be a lucky reader if you buy this book!
Myka & Gabriel have a rather tumultuous relationship right from the start. The are drawn together and have the crazy chemistry, but Gabe isn't willing to let anyone in. They start out as a sex only D/s arrangement, but they also have philosophical conversations and obviously care for each other even though Gabe keeps Myka at arms length. Myka quickly falls for Gabe & tries to keep up the pretense as well as pushing past her limits to convince Gabe she is right for him. Every time Gabe starts to feel something for Myka, he pushes her away & stops paying attention to her non-verbal cues which causes Myka distress. Eventually, they are able to work through their issues once they are forced back together due to a scandal.
Overall, the story was a good read, but there was a point about mid-way through that made me almost stop reading because I was so frustrated with their relationship & the way Gabe was treating Myka. I kept reading & finally learned what was causing Gabe to act the way he was, and I'm really glad I finished the book.
